Thanks to April, I was able to get into and thrive at a school which is a great fit for me. 

April helped me identify track as the extracurricular that would distinguish my application. She guided me through the ins and outs of the recruiting process at the schools I wanted to attend: connecting with coaches, marketing myself to be an attractive recruit, and identifying which coaches were interested in me and what all their emails, texts, and calls really meant. 

I was able to narrow my focus down to those schools which reciprocated my interest; UChicago was one of them and also one of my top choices. Ultimately, I applied early decision and the coach's pull, combined with my strong academics, helped me gain acceptance! 

It's been the perfect place for me to develop both academically and athletically.

I had first utilized PES for advice on my USC scholarship interview. I was able to easily book an appointment within 24 hours with ease. Even though I'd never met April personally, she was more than happy to overview my interview preparation and offer personal advice. 

She calmed my nerves, read through my CommonApp, and provided guidance. Afterwards, she personally encouraged me to book a follow-up meeting with her to review my financial aid offers and college decisions results. 

I went on to win a full-tuition Trustee scholarship at the University of Southern California. 

April is very knowledgeable and professional.  

She is importantly very accessible for questions and assistance.  She is expert on the process that may be unfamiliar to those who have not applied to schools in a couple of decades. She can recommend schools that will fit your needs, and takes pains to know the student in order to do so. Most importantly, she guides the student through the process and removes the potential conflict between parent and student.

April is worth her weight in gold.

The investment you put in to hiring her to assist your student is worth every penny and more. She has a unique skill set in that she understands the college application process and is familiar with the criteria that colleges use in deciding whether to accept a student.  

She gave us realistic expectations about the process of applications and helped our son by setting clear deadlines and took the pressure off of us by holding him accountable for his role in the application process.    

She helped us understand that choosing a college isn’t just about grades or career choice and that all aspects of the individual should be considered: academic, personal, spiritual, emotional, environmental, etc.
