 April championed an iterative approach to working on essays that I now use for every major piece of writing I have to do for school.

She also made it super clear what I needed to turn in for each specific college, which was super helpful.   April taught me that even if something seems really unapproachable, if you do it step by step, you can get it done successful 

 April was very knowledgeable and was able to answer the questions I had, right when I had them, which was very helpful.

I really appreciated April reading the essays and offering editing and revision suggestions which reduced the stress. I also really, really appreciated how April always tried to comfort me or cheer me up when I didn't feel confident in my essays or what colleges I would get into.   April organized all the college information and put it all in one place which helped a lot and made it less daunting.  She also helped me with  an organizational system. Learning how to break daunting tasks into smaller steps to make things much easier.

 April helped us realize that private colleges can sometimes be more affordable than public ones, which was 

a new insight for me.   

April offered advice and provided an email template when a job loss affected how much we could contribute to college costs. That advice helped my daughter secure an extra scholarship, making the cost of college manageable for us.  

In the initial meeting, April listened attentively and explained her philosophy. I knew right away April would be a great help in in guiding Marina through the college admissions process. We felt confident that April would give her the right prompts and reminders, allowing us to step back and let her take charge of the process.

I had first utilized PES for advice on my USC scholarship interview. I was able to easily book an appointment within 24 hours with ease. Even though I'd never met April personally, she was more than happy to overview my interview preparation and offer personal advice.
